The seeker must realize why the WHO AM I ? -inquiry, which is based on the individual, is inadequate and useless to reveal the truth. +

Limiting the mind or 'I' to an individual is the main hurdle in the pursuit of truth.

The individual is part and parcel of the illusory universe in whioh he exists. If the universe is illusory, then the existence of the individual within the illusory universe is bound to be illusory.
The seeker must realize why the WHO AM I ? -inquiry, which is based on the individual, is inadequate and useless to reveal the truth.
If the inquiry does not include the universe, then it is incomplete.
Sage Sankara: ~ VC-63- "Without knowing and examining the universe, one can’t know the Truth, as the idea that the external world exists, won't go. It can only go by an inquiry into the nature of the universe.
The universe itself is what God is all about. The totality of the universe is what God is all about.
You just study the nature of the universe with all the seriousness and sincerity to unfold the mystery of the universe. That is all you have to do.
Manduka Upanishad has no assumptions whatsoever. It is an honest and bold inquiry into truth. It rises above scripture.
Manduka Upanishad is not meant for all, as it is based entirely on reasoning.
Look into the nature of the universe. And you will be able to see that the universe, by its very nature, is illusory.
The moment you understand that the universe is illusory, ignorance disappears and Self-awareness arises.
Self-awareness is the state of non-dual reality. That is the state of Advaita.
Self-awareness arises only by mentally transcending the dualistic illusion into non-dualistic reality. .:~Santthosh Kumaar
