Deeper inquiry reveals that you are the ego. Without the ego, you cease to exist. The ego is the false Self within the illusory world. Your existence is limited to the illusory world.

The ‘I’ is not limited to you alone because the ‘I’ is the whole world in which you exist.

Without the 'I', the world in which you exist ceases to exist.

Limiting the ‘I’ to you alone is erroneous. Thus, it is necessary to realize what this ‘I’ is supposed to be in actuality.

You are limited to form, time, and space. You are not the Self because you are bound by birth, life, death, and the world, whereas the Soul, the Self, is limitless because it is a formless, timeless, and spaceless existence.

Until you think that the Self as ‘I’, the invisible Soul, the Self hidden by the illusory world, will remain in the cage of ignorance.
