God is Sanatana, which means God is the ancient one.+

God is Sanatana, which means God is the ancient one.
If one says God is light, others may also say it is light Within. Again, the light may take different colors. Then, which color is correct? Others contend that God is sound and say you hear the AUM sound inside during meditation. Still others say God is a fragrant smell, and that a beautiful scent comes in meditation as the presence of God.
All these differences of opinion can be endless, show mutual contradiction and general error, i.e., lack of certain truth. Moreover, if you see a Light, you are seeing a second thing that belongs to the illusory universe or Maya.
God, based on blind belief, is either impotent, incompetent or lacking in intelligence--if he exists! But all religions are based on nothing but imagination.
There is nothing so absurd that men have not worshipped in religion, nor sacrificial forms of worship so cruel that have not been indulged in. And every imaginable face has been given to God.
Know the God in truth and realize God in truth with full and firm conviction.
What you believe and worship as God is not the real God, according to the holy scriptures.
That is why Lord Krishna says Ch. V:~ “Those who know the Self in truth.”. The last two words (tattvataha) are usually ignored by pundits, but they make all the difference between the ordinary concept of God and the truth about God.
Lord Krishna confesses that the oldest wisdom of India (Advaitic wisdom) has been lost: people misinterpret and falsify it today, as they did then. It is not yoga but the philosophic truth. But nobody knows it. The teachers of philosophy and leaders of mysticism or religion do not want to inquire into truth and have no time for it. (Gita –Chap- IV-v.2)
Bhagavad Gita says: ~ “Brahmano hi pratisthaham Brahman (God) is considered the all-pervading consciousness which is the basis of all the animate and inanimate entities and material (Gita 14.27)
When Bhagavad Gita says God is considered the all-pervading consciousness, which is the basis of all the animate and inanimate entities and material, then nothing has to be accepted as God other than consciousness.
Truth seekers do not belong to any religion. They are more concerned with the truth rather than religion.
The religions do not own the truth because they are based on the false self and the false idea of God. Even their own scriptures say God is Spirit, but they do not believe because they have been taught to believe something else is God.
Bible says: ~ “God is a Spirit, and they that worship God must worship God in spirit and in truth. (John 4:24)
God is the Supreme Spirit. The Spirit is the root element of the universe. The Spirit is present in the form of the Soul, the Self. The Soul is present in the form of consciousness.
From the Spirit, the universe comes into existence. In the Spirit, the universe resides. And into the Spirit, the universe is dissolved. The Spirit is the parent of all that is there.
Mentally hold to the Spirit, the real God, the Spirit, and drop what is not God in truth.
In the Vedas, God has been described as:~
People are being conditioned by the religious myth, which has made them non-thinkers. People need to come out of the religious myth by realizing God in truth.
Rig Veda: ~ The Atman (Soul or Spirit) is the cause; Atman is the support of all that exists in this universe. May ye never turn away from the Atman, the ‘Self’. May ye never accept another God in place of the Atman nor worship other than the Atman?" (10:48, 5)
Rig Veda: ~ 'Prajnanam Brahma': - Consciousness is the ultimate reality or Brahman or God in truth.
God in truth is the Atman, the Self. Atman is present in the form of consciousness.
Do not accept any other God other than Atman nor worship other than Atman, which is ever nondual.
Let these words be inscribed in your subconscious.
Nothing is real but God. Nothing matters but love for God in truth. God in truth is everywhere and in everything.
Yajurveda – chapter- 32:~God is the Supreme Spirit has no ‘Pratima’ (idol) or material shape. He cannot be seen directly by anyone. He pervades all beings and all directions.
Thus, Idolatry does not find any support from the Vedas.
Vedas, Upanishads, and the Bible confirm that God is the invisible and unborn Soul, the Self, which is present in the form of the Spirit or consciousness.
Mentally hold on to the Spirit, or the Atma, which is God in truth, and drop what is not Gin truth.
If God is Spirit, then how does man know God created the world? There is no proof. If the man had seen God creating the world, he could admit it, but how could he have seen God before he came into existence? (i.e., were created).
Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana is knowledge of God in truth, which is Atma, or the Soul or Spirit, or Consciousness.
Remember:~
God in truth is universal. God belongs to the whole of humanity because God is Advaita.
When Sage Sankara says Atman is Brahman (God in truth), then why are you worshiping other Gods based on blind faith or blind belief?
Brahman— The One Without A Second.
The Atman is Self-evident (Svatah-Siddha). It is not established by extraneous proofs. It is not possible to deny the Atman, because it is the very essence of the one who denies it.
The Atman is the basis of all kinds of knowledge, presuppositions, and proofs. Self is within, Self is without; Self is before, Self is behind; Self is on the right, Self is on the left; Self is above and Self is below. Brahman is not an object, as it is Adrisya, beyond the reach of the eyes. Hence, the Upanishads declare: “Neti Neti—not this, not this....” This does not mean that Brahman is a negative concept, or a metaphysical abstraction, or a nonentity, or a void. It is not another. It is all-full, infinite, changeless, Self-existent, Self-delight, Self-knowledge, and Self-bliss. It is Svarupa, essence. It is the essence of the witness. It is the Seer (Drashta), Transcendent (Turiya), and Silent Witness (Sakshi).
Sage Sankara’s Supreme Brahman (God in truth)is impersonal, Nirguna (without Gunas or attributes), Nirakara (formless), Nirvisesha (without special characteristics), immutable, eternal, and Akarta (non-agent). It is above all needs and desires. It is always the Witnessing Subject. It can never become an object as it is beyond the reach of the senses. Brahman is non-dual, one without a second. It has no other besides it. It is destitute of difference, either external or internal. Brahman cannot be described, because description implies a distinction. Brahman cannot be distinguished from any other than It. In Brahman, there is no distinction between substance and attribute. Sat-Chit-Ananda constitutes the very essence or Svarupa of Brahman, and not just its attributes. The Nirguna Brahman, as described by Sage Sankara, is impersonal.
When Sage Sankara says Atman is Brahman (God in truth), then why are you worshiping other Gods?
God must be independent of religion. Sage Sankara himself says the Saguna Brahman, or a personal God, is part of the illusory world, and the Nirguna Brahman is the only eternal reality.

God in truth is universal because God in truth is impersonal. God in truth does not belong to any religion because religious Gods are based on blind faith or beliefs. God m in truth has to be realized, not worshiped.:~Santthosh Kumaa
