Belief in non-Vedic religion and non-Vedic religious Gods and non-Vedic religious rituals keeps you permanently in ignorance.+

Blind belief in non-Vedic religion and non-Vedic religious Gods, and non-Vedic religious rituals keeps you permanently in the prison of ignorance. God of belief is not God in truth.
Non-Vedic religious Gods and religious rituals because religious Gods are not God in truth, and rituals based on religious Gods are based on non-Vedic Gods barred by the Vedas.
Holding a non-Vedic God as the real God is holding a superstition as God. Sticking to non-Vedic rituals is sticking to ignorance.
Rig Veda:~ ‘Prajnanam Brahma’: - Consciousness is the ultimate reality or Brahman or God in truth.
Yajurveda – chapter- 32:~ God Supreme or Supreme Spirit has no ‘Pratima’ (idol) or material shape. God cannot be seen directly by anyone. God pervades all beings and all directions.
Thus, Idolatry does not find any support from the Vedas.
Brihadaranyaka Upanishad: ~ Brahman (God in truth) is present in the form of the Athma, and it is indeed Athma itself.
People who worship God based on blind belief are hallucinating that they become one with such God. The Vedas themselves say: May ye never accept another God in place of the Atman, nor worship other than the Atman.
Thus, to realize the real God, Self-realization is necessary. Self-realization is God-realization. Self-realization itself is real worship.
Sage Sankara’s Supreme Brahman is impersonal, Nirguna (without Gunas or attributes), Nirakara (formless), Nirvisesha (without special characteristics), immutable, eternal, and Akarta (non-agent). It is above all needs and desires. It is always the witnessing subject. It can never become an object as it is beyond the reach of the senses. Brahman is non-dual, one without a second.
Advaita is the nature of the invisible Soul, the Self. Advaita is the invisible Soul itself. Advaita is the invisible Soul, which is God in truth. Advaita is another word for God in truth, which is second to none.
Brihadaranyaka Upanishad:~ "He who worships the deities as entities entirely separate from the Self does not know the truth. For the Gods, he is like a pasu (beast)". (1. 4. 10)
Bhagavad Gita Chapter:~ All those whose intelligence has been stolen by material desires, they worship many gods. (7- Verse -20)
Kena Upanishad (6) Chapter I: ~ “That which cannot be apprehended by the mind, but by which, they say, the mind is apprehended- That alone know as Brahman, and not that which people here worship.
Kena Upanishad (7) Chapter I:~ That which cannot be perceived by the eye, but by which the eye is perceived- That alone is known as Brahman and not that which people here worship.
Kena Upanishad (Chapter I:~ That which cannot be heard by the ear, but by which the hearing is perceived- That alone is known as Brahman and not that which people here worship.
Kena Upanishad (9)- Chapter I:~ That which cannot be smelt by the breath, but by which the breath smells an object- That alone is known as Brahman, and not that which people here worship.
Even Rig Veda: ~ The Atman is the cause; Atman is the support of all that exists in this universe. May ye never turn away from the Atman, the Self. May ye never accept another God in place of the Atman nor worship other than the Atman?" (10:48, 5)
Even the Bhagavad Gita says: ~ ‘Brahmano hi pratisthaham’ ~ Brahman (God in truth) is considered the all-pervading consciousness, which is the basis of all the animate and inanimate entities and material. (14.27).
When the Bhagavad Gita says, God is considered the all-pervading consciousness, which is the basis of all the animate and inanimate entities and material, then nothing has to be accepted as truth other than consciousness as truth.
That is why Bhagavan Buddha said: ~ “Believe nothing because a wise man said it. Believe nothing because it is generally held. Believe nothing because it is written. Believe nothing because it is said to be divine. Believe nothing because someone else said it. But believe only what you, yourself, judge to be true
Remember this:~
Go beyond means mentally realizing God in truth:
Beyond there is neither the ‘I’ nor the world in which you exist. There is only consciousness.
The ‘I’ is merely an illusion created out of consciousness.
The world in which you exist is present in the form of the ‘I’.
Without knowing what this ‘I’ is supposed to be in actuality, the truth hidden by the ‘I’, which is the dualistic illusion, will not be revealed. The ‘I’-centric teachings lead to hallucination.
People who argue that the invisible Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness, does not exist are not aware that their own existence is dependent on the invisible Soul, which is in the form of consciousness.
The ‘I-centric’- centric teaching says consciousness is temporary and ‘I’ is the permanent thing. The ‘I-centric’ teachings lead to all sorts of confusion. Sometimes, they say consciousness is an illusion. Sometimes they say I am an illusion. Sometimes they say the being is free from consciousness, and I am. So, still, they are in elementary stages without reaching anywhere. It is only hype created that ‘I-centric teaching is the ultimate.
Those who say consciousness itself is an illusion and impermanent are still in the elementary stages.
Sage Sankara says the transparent Truth of the Self, which is hidden by the illusion, is to be attained through the instructions of a knower of Brahman (Gnani)
~ Then why stick with a Guru who is not a Gnani?
That is why Swami Vivekananda said: ~ “You have to grow from the inside out. None can teach you, none can make you spiritual. There is no other teacher but your own Soul.”
There is nothing that exists prior to consciousness. The ‘I’ ceases to exist without consciousness. The invisible Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness, is the ultimate truth or Brahman or God in truth.
That is why Bhagavad Gita: ~ “The permanent (consciousness) is always there, only the transient ‘I’ comes and goes. (2.18)
The ‘I’ hides the invisible Soul, the Self, which is the cause of the 'I'.
Bhagavad Gita: ~ “You must first see the ‘I’ as illusory before you see others as illusory. ~ CH.2 v.16
The world in which you exist is a dualistic illusion created out of the Self, which is not you but the invisible Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness.
Whatever you have seen, known, believed, and experienced is within the dualistic illusion or Maya. Thus, your existence is bound to an illusion created out of consciousness, which is real and eternal.
Like an ornament made from gold is Gold, which is born out of consciousness, is consciousness. Like gold is a permanent thing, in ornaments made of gold, similarly, the mind, which is in the form of the universe, is born out of consciousness, is consciousness in its essence.
All those whose intelligence has been stolen by the “I-centric” teaching follow the path of ignorance.
Humanity has to awaken to the reality of its true existence by realizing the world in which humanity exists is merely an illusion created out of consciousness through Self-knowledge, or Brahma Gnana, or Atma Gnana.
Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana frees the invisible Soul, the Self, from the cage of the dualistic illusion or Maya.
Sage Sankara says: ~ VC-162- There is no liberation for a person of mere book knowledge, howsoever well-read in the philosophy of Vedanta, so long as one does not give up the false identification with the body, sense organs, etc., which are unreal.
People dwelling in ignorance, but thinking themselves wise and erudite, go round and round by various blind beliefs and tortuous paths and practices, like the blind led by the blind.
Swami Vivekananda said:~ "The Vedas teach that the Soul is divine, only held in the bondage of matter; perfection will be reached when this bond will burst, and the word they use for it is, therefore, Mukthi - freedom, freedom from the bonds of imperfection, freedom from death and misery."
The truth is very simple, but it is very difficult to grasp because of ignorance. You have to realize the world in which you exist is created out of a single clay. And that single clay is the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness.
Thus, you and your body and the world in which you exist are nothing but consciousness because they are merely an illusion created out of consciousness. Perfect understanding of ‘what is what’ is needed.
A Gnani can point at the sky, but the seeing of the star is the seeker's own work.
It is necessary to reflect on the same truth again and again till it becomes a reality. One needs to constantly reflect on the subject until one gets a firm conviction of 'what is what'. Words of wisdom are needed until one gets a firm conviction of ‘what is what’.
People need to read and hear the words of wisdom to think, reason, and reflect deeply and reach the ultimate end.
It takes time for the seeker to gain the perfect understanding of ‘what is truth’ and ‘what is untruth’. It takes time for the invisible Soul, the Self, to wake up from the sleep of ignorance, and it takes time for one to realize the truth, which is beyond form, time, and space.
One should not conclude because some great thinkers said so or some philosophy says so.
Without consciousness, the mind, which is in the form of the universe, ceases to exist. Man ceases to exist without the universe.
The universe ceases to exist without the invisible Soul, the Self. The invisible Soul can exist with or without the universe.
The form, time, and space are one in essence. That essence is the invisible Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness.
Deeper self-search is necessary to understand, assimilate, and realize the truth, which is beyond form, time, and space.
The invisible Soul, the One without the Second: ~
The invisible Soul is Self-evident. It is not established by extraneous proofs. It is not possible to deny the invisible Soul because it is the very essence of the one who denies it.
The invisible Soul is the basis of all kinds of knowledge, presuppositions, and proofs. The invisible Soul is the Self.
The invisible Soul is everything. Thus, the invisible Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness, is the ultimate truth or Brahman or God in truth.
Once the seeker accepts that the Self is neither the ‘I’ nor the body, then he realizes that consciousness, and he establishes himself in that conviction.
Once this conviction is established the then the waking experience is non-existent as reality.
It is very difficult for those who strongly believe in the ‘I’, as the Self, to realize the truth. Most of the spiritual paths hold the ‘I’ as the Self and spin their imagination on the base of the ‘I’, which leads them to hallucination.
People mistake the Self as 'I', whereas the gross bodies are many. So, 'I’ cannot be the Self.
By sentimentally and emotionally getting involved with some teachings or a teacher, it is a great hindrance in the pursuit of truth.
People hold their guru as the ultimate authority and drop their pursuit of truth and indulge in glorifying and worshiping the gurus, which keeps them permanently in ignorance.
The serious seeker should constantly reflect on the Self through deeper self-search. The invisible Soul, the Self, is in the form of consciousness.
Realizing the Self is not ‘I’ but the Self is the formless Soul, which witnesses the ‘I’. Self-knowledge is the only tool for the acquisition of final freedom from experiencing the illusory duality as a reality.
The seeker has to have the indifference mentally to all three states because the three states are an illusion created out of consciousness.
Holding the three states as reality is a great hindrance in the pursuit of truth. Thus, one has to remove all the obstacles and mental barricades one by one, by realizing that the Self is not the form but the Self is the invisible Soul.
The three states are perishable because they are an illusion created out of the Soul or consciousness.
The invisible Soul or consciousness, which is the formless substance and witness of the illusory universe, is real and eternal.
Thus, the invisible Soul is the Self. And knowing and realizing consciousness as the Self is the means to the attainment of Self-Realization or Truth-Realization.
The invisible Soul is the Self. The invisible Soul is present in the form of consciousness. Consciousness is the formless substance and witness of the three states. Consciousness is alone real and permanent.
The three states are an object opposed to it, which is transient – such a settled conviction is truly known as discrimination.
Turning attention completely from all three states and concentrating only on consciousness, which is the formless substance and the witness of the three states, is the only means to acquire non-dual wisdom.
An intense urge to become free from the bonds of this birth, life, death, and the world leads one to indulge in the pursuit of truth.
Only serious seekers who have an intense urge to acquire Self-Knowledge should have the courage to discard the false-knowledge to attain non-dualistic wisdom.
Bhagavad Gita says: ~ “Among thousands of men, scarcely one strives for perfection; and of those who strive and succeed, scarcely one knows the ‘Self’ in truth.
The path of wisdom attracts only those who are in search of truth, and they appreciate it greatly. The ignorant are not spiritually mature; they receive Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana, or Atma Gnana.
The ignorant indulge in argument and provocation and personal attack, which hinders their own realization of the ultimate truth or Brahman or God in truth.
That is why Jesus said: - Do not throw your pearls before pigs, lest they trample them underfoot and turn to attack you. (Matthew -7:6)
~ Jesus meant knowledge of the Spirit (God) ~ Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana.

Bhagavad Gita says: ~ “Don't unsettle the minds of the ignorant by revealing the esoteric truth.” : ~Santthosh Kumaar
