Unless you realize that religion and yoga are useless to acquire Self-knowledge, you will not be able to realize the truth hidden by ignorance.

Sage Sankara said:~ Neither by the practice of yoga nor philosophy, nor by good works nor by learning, does liberation come, but only through the realization that Atman and Brahman are one in no other way. (1) Vivekachoodamani v 56, pg. 25

Religion and yoga are based on the false self (ego) and the illusory world. Religious people believe their individual experiences of birth, life, death, and the world are real.

When the world itself is the product of ignorance, then whatever is believed within the world as reality is bound to be a falsehood.

Sage Sankara said: ~ Talk as much philosophy as you like, worship as many Gods as you please, observe ceremonies and sing devotional hymns, but the liberation will never come, even after a hundred aeons, without realizing the Oneness.

No religious God can exist apart from the invisible Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness.

All the religious Gods with form and attributes cease to exist without the dualistic illusion.

People are not aware of the fact that there is no individual God can exist, apart from the invisible Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness.

The invisible Soul is the Self. If there is no Soul, then there is nobody, no ego, no world in which you exist, no religion, and no religious Gods.

Sage Sankara says: ~ “The exercise in discrimination between real and unreal and renunciation of the false is real meditation, then why are you indulging in other types of meditation.

To get rid of ignorance, the only remedy is Self-knowledge. Self-knowledge is to realize that the Self is not you, but the ‘Self is the formless Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness.

Why are you struggling to get Self-realization? There is no need to go from one mountain to another, one Guru to another, one Ashram to another, read books after book.

Realize the world in which you exist is nothing but consciousness. Without consciousness, the world in which you exist ceases to exist. Thus, there is no second thing that exists other than consciousness.

Thus, everything is consciousness, whether it exists as the world, in which you exist, or without the world, in which you exist.

Realizing consciousness as the ultimate truth is truth realization. Truth realization is Self-realization. Self-realization is God-realization. : ~ Santthosh Kumaar
